Help Head Lice?

Help I think I may have lice and Im 22 which makes it so weird for me. I think I may have got it from my bf. He used my brush about a day ago and today I found what I believe was a louse. I didn’t really get that good of a look since once I noticed it was a bug I kind of freaked out and dropped it but I’m pretty sure it was a louse. I dont know what to do, I have not had this problem since I was 15. He has slept here only once. If it was a louse does this mean I got to clean wash all my bedding and clothes? Obvisouly I should treat my hair but I dont get paid for 3 more days so I can’t buy the shampoo yet. Can I just toss it all in the dryer since the websites say that washing doesnt really help but the 30 mins in the dryer will kill them. The sites also say that lice cant survive 48 without blood so maybe I could stick all my things in bags for 2 days. I don’t know what to do. What spray actually works to kill lice on bedding? Any advice or help on this would be greatly appreciate.
I’m looking at walgreens.com right now but I dont know which product works the best. I want to get a complete removal kit which includes the spray, shampoo and comb. But which one is the most effective. Has anyone used any of these brands Liceguard, Pronto plus, the walgreens brand, or rid? Which one is the most effective?
